2018 I’m leaving you behind and not looking back. Bye girl!
Brought in the new year with some tamales a glass of Stella rose and a good book. Currently reading; Girl Wash your face by Rachel Hollis.
This new year I want to share and hope to share more of my fashion adventures . If anything I want to make time for what makes me happy: blogging, brunching, reading, traveling, more concerts and spending time with my family. So basically I’m quitting my day job (Not Really). I’m working on this thing called “work life balance”. Working on eating healthy, exercising, and just breathing.
I was feeling spontaneous and decided to do a last minute look . It had been a while since I posted something new, but I’m so happy I did and I hope you babes enjoy.
I was so excited to get my pink teddy coat out of the closet, it’s one of my favorite clothing items. I wanted something casual but with a little bit of you know unicorn edge. I paired the coat with a very simple sweater I think the coat itself is a statement of its own so didn’t want to go completely overboard! I wanted to go for more of dressed down look so I wore black velvet leggings. Now if you are looking for more of a dressed up outfit the coat would look super chic with a dress, or skirt. You can honestly rock the coat pretty much for any occasion, whether it’s a brunching date with the girls or a night out with your better half.
I live for high wasted pants and these velvet leggings don’t disappoint. If you are looking for a good pair of high wasted jeans I love old navy’s high wasted rock star jeans they have variety of selection. I wanted to give you a couple looks with this outfit so I added the fedora (another buy from Brixton).
To make things fun I went a little out there with makeup and did blue eye shadow used my morphe pallet (35V) and paired it with a pink shade of lipstick.
I hope you all had a amazing new years!
